Hey there, folks.

I'm Andie - the brain, hands and creative energy that lies behind August Fern Design.

Born and raised outside of Chicago, I take "Midwest nice" seriously and believe everyone deserves a seat at the table and a Country Crock container of leftovers when they leave.

I am a seasoned designer - during my nearly 10 years of experience in the industry, I have worked on projects ranging from brand design, logo design, wedding collateral, packaging design, illustration and more.

I think creativity thrives in individuals who have endless curiosity and a desire to continually be learning about themselves, the world around them and new ways to connect to that world.

I am committed to the holistic journey of design. I am not merely a designer; I am a collaborator, a problem-solver, and a catalyst for bringing creative visions to life. I care about the "why" in every piece of my designs which in turn ensures unique, dynamic work that stands out online and on shelf.

I believe no good design takes place in a silo. Creating great art involves active engagement between designer and client - I will work with you every step of the way in order to achieve our goals.
